Christmas Day

The next morning, we woke up and went to church. After church we opened our presents that Santa delivered at night while we were sleeping. Doodle Bug couldn't believe that there was more!!!

Doodle Bug enjoyed his third Christmas. It was so exciting as parents to watch the sparkle in DB's eyes when Santa showed up and when he played with his toys. He has actually played all day long: rockets, kites, cars, planes, and trains. A boy's dream come true.

Christmas Eve

We started the Holiday by making and decorating Christmas Cookies for Santa. Doodle Bug really got into it this year. I showed him the steps and he did the rest. The hardest part was keeping him from eating the raw cookie dough!

Later that evening, we went to Grandma and Papaw's house for dinner and presents. Doodle Bug was coming down with a cough and stuffy nose, so we started with a nebulizer treatment. After dinner, Doodles was coloring in Grandma's office. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. SANTA had arrived. Doodle Bug had been talking about Santa all month. But, now that he was here, DB wasn't to fond of him. I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story.

We had a Merry and Blessed Christmas Eve.
